The PRIMOR 15070 M is a high-capacity addition to the Kuhn all-fodder feeder and straw blower line. It is designed to take up to 4 cubic bales measuring 2.70 x 1.30 x 1.20 m, or 3 round bales up to 2 m in diameter (with the optional UNROLL SYSTEM).

The machine can be customised to fit the configuration of your buildings, with either a turbine and side chute or a multi-directional chute allowing for straw-blowing on both sides. Performance is a key focus of the machine’s design with two feed rotors covering the entire turbine input area. With a bank of hydraulic tines above the feed rotors, it can be adapted to all types of product for maximum ease of use.

High-capacity straw blower & feeder!

The gently-sloping tailgate is flush with the conveyor belt, facilitating the loading of round bales with no need for an external loader.

The tub fitted to the PRIMOR 15070 M has been designed to handle round (3 round bales up to 2 m in diameter) and cubic (4 cubic bales up to 2.7 m in length) bales of all sizes.

In emergency situations, the PRIMOR 15070 M can also be used to distribute grass and corn-based silage thanks to its watertight tub and BOOST FLOOR system.

PRIMOR straw-blowers & feeders are designed with ease of maintenance in mind.

The oversized belt is a self-contained unit, bolted to the tub body. The belt will last for many years, and can then be easily changed. In order to keep the belt clean, it is fitted with an integrated evacuation hatch as standard: no more
build-up at the bottom of the belt.

The PRIMOR 15070 M straw blower & feeder is fitted with our patented POLYDRIVE system, combining the power of a mechanical drive system with the flexibility of a hydraulic solution for hassle-free distribution of even the longest fibres.

POLYDRIVE feed rotor drive

With the POLYDRIVE patented system, the feed rotor benefits from the power generated by the turbine flywheel. Distributing long-fibre fodder is no longer a chore.

With a drive belt that can be disengaged as required via the electric controls in the tractor cab, you can cut the fodder flow when obstacles are encountered along the feed passage (posts, drinking troughs, passing farm workers, etc.).

All-fodder feed rotor

The 2 separating units are equipped with 30 sections, for optimal cutting of long, difficult products.

The PRIMOR 15070 M is fitted with 6 regulating tines, spreading the fodder across the whole width of the separator and ensuring a regular flow into the turbine.

The regulating tines, with hydraulically-adjustable boom, allow the PRIMOR 15070 M to adapt to all types of fodder (raised position for rapid straw flow, lowered position for haylage).

Regular, even quantity of straw per m²

The turbine wheel is composed of 8 bolted-on blades, 2 of which are slightly longer, in order to vary the rate of flow of straw into the turbine and create a shower effect.

The large surface area of the blades ensures that the fodder is propelled all the way up the chute. The result is regular, constant straw distribution throughout the whole space, with no need to shift the chute cap upwards.

The space between the blades and the turbine inflow is what we call the “pneumatic separation chamber.”

The volume of air moving through this chamber draws the feed while also gently untangling it. The straw thus remains intact. The result is a litter which is more resistant and longer-lasting, delivering greater comfort for your animals!

For silage feeding

For farmers working with silage, an outflow pipe directly aligned with the turbine ensures that the product is redirected as soon as it leaves the chute, for clean swath distribution.

The wide opening ensures there is no risk of blockage when working with long-fibre fodders. Hydraulic installation.

The length of the outflow pipe can be adapted to the tractor track.

Because the chute is fully aligned with the turbine, the PRIMOR 15070 M is suitable for silage distribution

Electric controls as standard

The electric controls ensure a smooth user experience. The compact control panel has been designed to fit inside all types of tractor cabs.

Enjoy full access to all the functions of your machine without leaving the driver's seat.

The only operation requiring a remote control cable is changing the turbine speed (310 and 620 min-1).

Combined on a single control pad, you can change the direction of the chute and adjust the chute cap with one hand!

Dual tailgate and conveyor control

Installed as standard on the PRIMOR 5570 M, the tailgate dual controls allow you to load round bales with the greatest of ease (and without having to climb back into the tractor cab).

All functions of the conveyor belt, tailgate and UNROLL System can be accessed from the rear of the machine.

300° swivel chute

For hard-to-reach bedding areas, the chute of your KUHN straw bedder can be fitted with our “300° kit” The add-on allows you to bed straw to the left, right and rear of you machine (range of 18 m on right, 13 m on left). Mounted on a circular rack and hydraulically driven, the rotation of the chute can be controlled at the press of a button from inside the driver's cab. In order to adapt to changes on your farm, the standard chute is capable of being retrofitted with the 300° kit even when the machine has already been in use for some time.

Dust control system for cleaner straw bedding

The CLEANSTRAW system reduces the quantity of dust circulating in your buildings during straw bedding, simply by adding water. The time the dust remains suspended in the air is considerably reduced (to 30 seconds) thanks to the 3 nozzles positioned at the chute output.
Very A fine mist of water is added in order to preserve the quality of the straw, particularly its absorption capacity.

Additional motor for silage feeding

For heavy feed products (e.g. silage), the PRIMOR 15070 M is equipped with the BOOST FLOOR system. This makes it possible to add a second belt drive motor for more torque on the belt for even distribution of heavy forage such as silage.

3 bales at the same time!

Fitting three Ø 1.50 m bales into the same machine while also delivering fodder is finally possible with our UNROLL SYSTEM. Two hydraulic clamps housed inside the machine body lift and wedge the second bale until it is required. The first bale unrolls normally during distribution without any pressure from the second bale.

Output divider

By using the output divider with a tractor with a flow rate greater than 45 l/min at 190 bar, you can protect the hydraulic components of your machine.
